When you're ready to sell, here's what to expect


  1. Contact the Veteran Real Estate Group.
  2. Set a price: We will collaborate with you to determine a fair and competitive price for your home based on its location, size, condition, and comparable properties for sale or recently sold in your area.
  3. Prepare your home: Make any necessary repairs, clean, and declutter your home, and consider staging it to make it more attractive to potential buyers.
  4. Market your home: We will take care of the marketing your home through various channels, such as online listings, flyers, and open houses.
  5. Show your home: Allow potential buyers to view your home at scheduled showings and open houses. Please let us know if you have any showing preference times to accommodate for small children or shift work.
  6. Receive offers: Upon receiving an Offer to Purchase for your home, we will review the offer from the potential buyers with you assist you to ensure you understand all the details and fine print.
  7. Negotiate: We are experts in this department and will help negotiate the terms of the Offer to Purchase, including the price, possession day, and any conditions of the sale.
  8. Accept an offer: Once you have agreed on a sale price, we will confirm that all the information is correct to protect you, then show you how to sign. Once the Offer to Purchase has been signed by both you and the buyer’s, you home is PENDING SALE.
  9. PENDING SALE: During this time, the buyers will be getting their mortgage approval, and having a home inspection of your home. If the buyer’s conditions (Financing and Home Inspection) were satisfied, the buyer’s agent will provide us with a Notice (Waiver or Satisfaction of Conditions) informing you that your home is SOLD!
  10. YOUR HOME IS SOLD: You will have to set up an appointment with a Real Estate lawyer of your choosing.  All the paperwork pertaining to the sale will be provided to your lawyer who will walk you through the process of transferring the title of the home to the buyers and will inform you of any required CLOSING COSTS. The average cost of a real estate lawyer for the sale of your home will be roughly $1000-$2000.   
  11. CLOSING DAY (Possession Day):  At approximately 12:00 pm the buyer’s lawyer will transfer the agreed upon amount for your home to your lawyer who will verify the funds have been received.  Once the funds have been received, we will be contacted by your lawyer telling us that the buyer’s now have possession. Your lawyer will contact you regarding the distribution of your funds, however, in the meantime, Congratulations, you have successfully sold your home!
